“Is Shatta Wale not a human being?” – Rev. Obofuor defends dancing to Shatta Wale’s songs

The Head Pastor of the Anointed Palace Chapel  has thrown jabs at people who criticise him for dancing to Shatta Wale’s songs. The man of God who has become widely noted for singing Shatta Wale’s songs has said during one of his church services that most of Shatta Wale’s songs have better content than the mainstream gospel songs.

He described Shatta Wale as the nation’s preacher because he touches on relevant issues that gospel songs don’t tackle dare to tackle.

According to him, the content of most gospel songs are jaded. The man of God said he needs songs that will make him dance; songs that will help his congregation burn calories so they don’t get knocked down by stroke.

“Who is a gospel artiste? The message in the song is the most important thing. Dances performed in the clubs are also right here in church,” he said.

“Is Shatta Wale not a human being? Those who call themselves gospel musicians are engaging in sexual immorality,” he added.

Rev. Obofuor recently dashed out brand new cars to some hardworking members of his church.

The Kumasi based Pastor who claims owns 14 companies has said that he was a businessman before he became a pastor.

“I have over 14 to 15 serious Companies, I’m not joking, I don’t make my money from Church.” Rev Obofuor said this after giving a brand new car to Anti Bee of Efiewura Fame.

Not long ago, he caught the attention of social media after showcasing his new Rolls Royce car.
