Ghanaian musician Rebecca Akosua Acheampomaa Acheampong who is popularly known as Becca in showbiz circles is celebrating her birthday today, August 15, 2017.

The songstress turned 33 today and to mark her birthday celebration she decided to celebrate with traders at the Makola market.

In an interview with the singer on why she decided to have her birthday celebration in the market, she revealed, some of the people who actually take money out to buy her records, CDs and dance to her music are not being reached and these are people on the street, people in the grassroots.

Birthdays are special and being in the industry for 10 years, the multiple award-winning songstress realized it is time to show love to the people on the street and reach out to them.

As part of the celebrations, Becca shared food, drinks and pastries to the traders and kayayei at Makola Rawlings Park.

Becca is now signed to Zylofon Music on a 3-year contract where the label would produce, promote and market her music, and already, the label has produced about four of her music video.

Under the aegis of the label, Becca is out with her third studio album, ‘Unveiling’ – a 13-track album that features the likes of Bisa KDei, Patoranking, Kofi Kinaata, Mr. Eazi and Stonebwoy.
